SUMMARY:

Britain is braced for the hottest Summer in 40 years as the country basks in 26C sunshine and temperatures warmer than Ibiza.

  • But there are  high levels of pollution  that could pose a risk to people with bad health conditions and the elderly
  • UK is set for mix of weather with hot temperatures and heavy rain bringing thunder, lightning and even some hail
  • Is the 'hottest summer' for 40 years
Health experts say  avoiding alcohol may be one of the best ways to enjoy the sunshine.
Alcohol like wine and beer and cider contain histamine which can increase the symptoms for those with asthma, or other breathing problems.

Sophie Yeomans, Met Office forecaster, told MailOnline that temperatures could reach 26C (78.8F) tomorrow - making it the hottest day of the year so far.

The coldest place in the British isles is Lerwick on the Shetland Islands which has reached 10C

PERSONAL OPINION

I'm so happy for the ones who live in UK but this is a little bit alarming, It isn't normal that one of the coldest and rainy place of Europe have the "warmest summer". I mean, all this is caused because of climate change so I don't know why everybody is so "happy".
