FOREVER YOUNG

Is it known for everybody that get old isn't pleasant; your breasts are going down, your face look like the Kalahari desert, your waist seems a float, and the only think that do you want to think about is your age. All these facts provoke an increase of the Botox and the plastic surgery, also  the anxiety of being younger and prettier accentuates the necessity of improve the parts of our body we don't accept.

It seems women are more worried about geting old a 56% or women are worried about aging, this fact contrasts with men, only a 34% are worried about aging. Because of that a 46% of women are more likely to considering anti-aging injections and only a 18% of men admit to consider these solutions, another reason of  this increase of plastic surgery (the most expensive plastic surgery are: neck liposuction and chin elargement) is that women are under more pressure than men of look younger, an example of this is the condition of gray hair; men with this hair are distinguished meanwhile women with gray hair are old.

But not all is negative! Sex improves with age and both sex agree with this(57%)!

Fortunately we have some good roles who act with their age: George Cloony who is still a charmer at 51 years old and Meryl Streep who is ever more elegant at 63 years old.

Is humour necessary?

Humour is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter. People of all ages and cultures respond to hormones, and it is known for having a sense for having a sense of humour.

First of all, humour is necessary because it provokes good effects in our body; it tiggers our endorphins and allow us to feel a very special kind of pleasure it also relaxes the whole body and boosts the immune system.

All types of humour are neccessary because they make different points of view and it improves democracy, for example, there are some satiric and parody programs such Polònia in Catalonia. All these programs help us laugh ourselves.
But recently some terrorists attacked Charlie Hebdo because they made fun of Arabic Religion, and this maked me think; Are there limits in humour? Of course not, If we restrict humour democracy will not improve.

In conclusion humour is necessary for all the reasons above; besides with humour it's possible to shift perspective.
Humour makes us happier, and it makes the world improves, of course it is necessary Isn't it?

Why we laugh?- TED

SUMMARY
In this video, Sophie Scott, a neuroscientist, stand-up comic talk about laugh and the facts about laugh.
Sophie Scott explains us how we breath when we are laughing, and the differences between our breath when are talking and our breath when we just breath without talk or laugh, she says that Nietzsche tought that only the humans can laugh but actually all the mammals can laugh. Scott also explains the two types of laughing(involuntary laughter or voluntary laughter) and how our brain reacts. A funny fact is when we get old we learn how to distinguish a fake laugh or a genuine laugh but she says that when we get older the laugh become less contagious to us.
In reationships laughter helps to regulate all the emotions. Finally she said the laughter is a really ancient behaviour.

PERSONAL OPINION
I think this TED talk is so interesting because laugh is very important in our lifes.

One fact that has surprised me is that when we get older the laugh become less contagious to us, this fact has surprised me because I've never thought that it affects to old people, I mean, I know that normally the old people are grumpy but I didn't know the reason of that.

Who I am?

I am a girl called Jordina who lives in Castelló d'Empúries and is 17 years old.
I'm in 2Bat and I'm so excited to go University.
One of my dreams is to study archaeology, and of course, my dream is travel to different archaelogical sites. It's so difficult to achieve this goal but I know that I can do it.
My second dream is travel around the world, yes I know this dream is so cliché! I mean, everybody wants to travel, meet new people and help other and all these stuff, but I really want to do it. Also, my best friend and I want to help to an ONG in India or in Africa but this dream is pretty complicated to achieve but of course I will try it.
The next dream is basically be happy and have time to read all the books that I want to read.
And finally one of my "freak" dreams is travel to Orlando, because I want to visit "The Harry Potter Orlando Resort".
Two years ago I went to London and there, I achieved one of my "freak" dreams: go to Warner Bross Studio Tour London( So the first dream DONE!)

Well, these are my dreams.

English Joke- podcast

Last day in class, we explained some jokes ( the majority of the jokes were so bad -including mine-) and here is mine!

A guy says to his friend, "Guess how many coins I have in my pocket."

The friends says, "If I guess right, will you give me one of them?"
The first guys says, "If you guess right, I'll give you both of them!"

Yes, I know it's so bad but don't blame me! Blame my imagination!!

Why 30 is not the new 20- opinion

SUMMARY:

In this video, a Clinical psychologist Meg Jay does a speech for all the twentysomethings.

Meg Jay says contrary to popular belief, your 20s are not a useless decade, says that just because marriage, work and kids are happening later in life, doesn’t mean you can’t start planning now.
Meg Jay keep saying in the tewentys is the time to explore and fail, and keep exploring. During your twenty happen the most of the experiences that define you, the twentys are time to educate yourself, it is a critical development to your adulthood.
Finally Meg Jay give us some adivces:
"Get some identity capital, do something that it is value for who you are" ,"Time to picking your family is now" .
In conclusion, Meg says the twentys is time to educate yourself and also it's the time for start planning your future life.

PERSONAL OPINION:
I think Meg Jay is right, the twentys is time to explore and educate yourself, what will you do in this time will mark you for the rest of your life, is necessary to use all these years for improve your identity. University is the best place to do all these improvments.

And, I think, those who say 30' is the new 20', is because they wasted all their 20' and now they are trying to make up all the time lost.
